Triad Center to be BYU-Pathway Worldwide’s New Headquarters
The future workplace for BYU-Pathway Worldwide will be the Triad Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Renovations to the building start in January 2018 and will continue for six months. Almost 20 Pathway employees have already made the transition to the Triad Center.
Located in the heart of Salt Lake City and only three blocks from the Salt Lake City Temple, the Triad Center is also home to LDS Business College, KSL, Deseret News, and the BYU Salt Lake Center. This location will help keep BYU-Pathway Worldwide connected with other Church programs and departments.
Employees of BYU-Pathway will be moving from Biddulph Hall on the BYU-Idaho campus. BYU-Pathway’s area in the Triad Center will have a much larger floor space than Biddulph Hall, which will provide many opportunities as the organization grows.
New furnishings, shelving, and floor remodeling are among the renovations that will help make the Triad Center a suitable workspace for BYU-Pathway employees. Employees currently working in the building are stationed in a hallway a few adjoining offices until renovations are complete.
BYU-Pathway employees are confident that the move to Salt Lake City will keep the program moving forward. While addressing the employees during an all-team meeting, J.D. Griffith, Pathway’s managing director, encouraged them to keep their Rexburg roots even as they transition to Salt Lake City.
“Our goal should be to bring the pioneer spirit of Rexburg into our new home,” Griffith said. “This move is exactly what this program needs to continue growing.”
