733 Online Degree-Seeking Students to Graduate from BYU-Idaho

At the conclusion of Spring Semester 2018, 733 online degree-seeking students will complete a degree or professional certificate online through Brigham Young University-Idaho. Among these individuals are 509 former PathwayConnect students.

237 of the graduates plan to attend commencement and convocation ceremonies live Monday, July 23, 2018, on the BYU-Idaho campus. Students will travel from as far as Anchorage, Alaska; Bedford, New York; Haiti; Ghana; and Albania.

Of the 509 former PathwayConnect students completing a degree or certificate through BYU-Idaho, 298 are earning a bachelor’s degree, 158 are earning an associate degree, and 53 are completing a certificate. Students completing an online degree or certificate represent 28 countries and 39 U.S. states.

In addition, more than 7,200 students will complete PathwayConnect this semester.

Since PathwayConnect started in 2009, more than 30,500 students have completed the program. Including the most recent totals, 2,995 BYU-Idaho degrees and certificates have been awarded to PathwayConnect graduates.

The upcoming academic term for PathwayConnect and BYU-Idaho online courses begins September 17. PathwayConnect fall enrollment is open through August 28, and BYU-Idaho is accepting applications for its online degree program until August 1.

Graduates will attend the ceremony and commencement at the BYU-Idaho Center on July 23, 2018.
