REXBURG, Idaho — Of Pathway’s Church-service missionaries whose service is scheduled to conclude in 2016, 58 percent have requested to extend. A total of 2,061 Pathway missionaries are currently serving — including 400 newly-called missionaries.

“I’m struck by the deep humility and immense love our missionaries have for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His children,” said April Spaulding, Pathway Missionary Support manager “It is reflected in their desire to serve even when some aspects of the calling may take them a little out of their comfort zone. They truly understand that they are His hands and are so willing to stretch beyond what is comfortable. What an honor to be engaged in a work with tremendous saints as these.”

This increase in missionary extensions will allow students and new missionaries to benefit from the continued experience of returning Pathway missionaries. Pathway is grateful for the sacrifices and time that these brothers and sisters willingly give to help the program grow.
